Leader is proud to announce the release of the version 1.5 729TRK frame. The newer frame is refined with a new head tube gusset design, much wider stays to fit a larger tire in the rear, redesigned dropouts that are 10mm longer, revised and improved chain tensioners that are much easier to adjust and works fantastic with the axel instead of the bolts. Also, a new paint finish which will be a flat black powdercoat is being introduced.

The Scissor frame and fork has been born from the demand for a tough fixed gear bike for the likes of team riders Super Ted and Tom La Marche to thrash around their respective city landscapes.

When we first introduced our Cutter frame/ fork, the most common question asked was "can it barspin?" We really didn't want to change the frame geometry, since we wanted the traditional angles.We realized that the fork had a lot to do with the tire clearing the downtube. Our main goal with the Fu Manchu fork was to have clearance on every size frame we make and to make it strong enough for it to take the abuse of the modern day fixed gear rider.

Fixed Gear Frame with BMX Strength
What started off as a sample for ourselves here at the office has turned into something we'd never expect; the go-to trick frame for fixed gear riders. Our number one goal for the Cutter from day one was to use as a commuter bike and maybe jump some curb cuts in the process (stick a BMXer on any bike and they'll just have to do tricks on it). What we didn't know was that no other company has used the same tubing and heat treatments as BMX companies do for their fixed gear frames.
We're firm believers that you have to trust what's between your legs. Ask any BMX pro if they'll ride a ti or aluminum frame and you'll get the same answer. "No way". With the tubing we use, you can count on the frame not breaking. Whether you're using the Cutter for road use or doing tricks on, we are confident to say that it's one of the toughest fixed gear frames in the market. We're so confident that we backed the Cutter with a lifetime warranty.
Sizing: We recommend all customers ride the Cutter before making a purchase. A lot of frames differ from the next on sizing. A lot of customers who buy the Cutter use it for tricks and want the size down from the recommended size we give them. Most want a smaller frame for maneuverability reasons.
